Unless you are a fan of greyhound racing, you will probably not have any idea of just what the Brighton Belle is, well it is a greyhound race made up of several heats and then the winners of those heats are then put into the final race much like any other greyhound competition.
I am confident that many of you out there will be having a flutter on this year’s Bright Belle event, and if you haven’t yet done so then below I will walk you through the current state of the ante post betting markets and that may just give you some ideas of which greyhounds to back.
Be aware though that there are going to be plenty of greyhounds of you to pick and choose from before the Brighton Belle moves onto the final race as there are several heats that do of course need to be run.
Therefore if you want to lower your chance of busting out your bankroll consider placing an each-way bet, and place such bets over at Betfred of you will be able to pick up some valuable each-way betting terms which are one quarter of the win odds being paid out to three places.
Top Two Greyhounds in the Betting
It may be the case that you want to simply follow the smart early money and if that is the case then the first and second ante post favourites to win the Brighton Belle are where you should be placing your money.
As for just which greyhounds they are, well the current 3/1 early favourite is Galloping Moon who some punters do think is going to take all of the beating this year and then the current ante post second favourites is Droopys Baton who is chalked up at many bookies sites at odds of 5/1.
Plenty of Each-way Options Available
There are also three other greyhounds that are chalked up on the ante post betting markets for this year’s Brighton Belle that are in single digit odds and those are both Seaglass Celine and Maysthistlecrack at 13/2 along with Lassies Gift at 8/1.
The odds then jump into double digits and there are loads of greyhounds that can be backed at double digit odds, which if you back them and any of them do win will see you getting a decent sized winning pay-out form both the win part and place part of an each-way bet.
Some greyhounds that stand a much greater chance of getting placed at the very least in double digit odds are Comeonyoubees at 10/1, Baran Spitfire at 12/1 along with both of the two current 14/1 shots those being Fridays Caramel and Newinn Cracker.
