With every single type of bet available to you on each of the many races that are going to be run next week as part of the Royal Ascot race meeting, if you do enjoy betting on horses then you really are going to have a ball betting on that event next week.
However, at the end of the meeting there will be one jockey that will end up being crowned the champion jockey at that meeting, and there are a number of bookies that have a top jockey betting market on offer to their customer, which will be worth checking out today.
I say that, for if one jockey does have a good run of luck on day one, then you will find the odds that are offered on them before the race meting got under way will be higher now than they are when certain jockeys start to win race after race, if of course any of them do.
There is one jockey that does have a fine and outstanding chance of being the top jockey at Royal Ascot booking at the horses he has been booked to ride, and that jockey is Ryan Moore and the odds that you will find on offer are 4/7 on him doing so.
Dettori Looks a Fair Bet
Looking at the list of rides that Frankie Dettori has for this year Royal Ascot race meeting, he too has a very fair and reasonable chance of being the top jockey, and several bookies that I check out this morning had him on offer at odds of 3/1 to be so.
There is one other jockey that can currently be backed at single digit odds and that is James Doyle, and as for the odds he is being touted at, well many bookies do have him chalked up at odds of 6/1.
Could an Outsider be the Top Jockey?
The current form of each jockey and of course the form of the horses they have been booked to ride are going to be two factors that will determine the ante post odds on each jockey as to his or her chances of being the top jockey at any race meeting.
As such you are going to find that whilst some jockeys do have the chance of being crowned the top jockey at Ascot, based on the number of horses they have so far been booked to ride, those horses may not have the best form.
As for a few other jockeys that you may or may not fancy backing, they include the likes of Donnacha O’Brien whose odds are high as 25/1, Jim Crowley is a popular jockey and his odds have just dropped down to 20/1, so some punters most certainly do rate his chances, then you have Oisin Murphy and Silvestre De Sousa who are both 33/1, followed by Jamie Spencer at 50/1 and Andrea Atzeni who isn’t attracting much support it does have to be said at odds of 66/1,
