Low Risk Bets on the Spanish Grand Prix

Even though Hamilton is the favourite to win this weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix, and sadly his odds of winning are a tad low, there are some other betting opportunities in that long awaited race that offer a low risk nature, and as such today I am going to be looking at what they are.

It will be on the team outright winner betting markets that you can slightly increase your chances of winning. Take for example the Mercedes bet, if either of their drivers win then you will be rewarded with win odds at bookies such as BetFred of 4/9.

It is worth me pointing out that both of their drivers those being Hamilton and Bottas are the first and second favourites on the driver betting market and as such that is a decent bet and one that is sure to tempt plenty of punters to take a chance on it.

The second favourite team to win is of course the Ferrari team, and with odds of 7/4 being offered at BetFred and several other betting sites if you do rate their chances of winning then you should be mopping up those odds sooner rather than later, as they could just drop at any time.

Red Bull May Just Pull It Off

Now, it may seem completely beyond the realms of possibilities that one of the Red Bull team will win the 2019 running of the Spanish Grand Prix, but there will always be punters prepared to back them no matter what.

As such, if you are one of those punters that are very loyal to the Red Bull team then the odds you can secure on either of their two drivers winning are 10/1, and those odds are certainly going to be appealing to you.

Teams to Avoid Backing

The chances of any of the other teams winning this race are so tiny that you really ought to be avoiding backing any of them, and those tiny chances of each of them winning are of course reflected in the massive win odds attached to each other team.

Plenty of them are currently very easy to back at odds of 500/1 and those teams are McLaren, Racing Point, Toro Rosso, Alfa Romeo and the Renault team and you can also get odds of 750/1 on the Haas team or four-digit odds right now of 1000/1 on the Williams team winning.

Those odds however are not going to be anywhere as high as they will be if you choose to place your bets on any of the outsiders to win the Spanish Grand Prix this year at a betting exchange such as Betfair, for the other users of that betting exchange are going to be trying to part you from your money by offering you some much higher valued odds for sure.

Just keep in mind though, that all things considered it is likely to be one of the top two teams in the betting that will win this race.
