Today I am going to be taking a look at one of the many major Rugby Union tournaments, and that is of course the Heineken Champions Cup, and will be giving you an insight into the current state of the outright betting markets that are currently available on that event.
It is the current set of odds that you can make use of and secure over at the William Hill betting site that I will be quoting below, so if you do fancy placing a bet on any team at the odds listed then make sure that is where you place your bets at, but do be quick as those odds are subject to change at any time of course!
The team that is heading the futures betting market on the Heineken Champions Cup this season currently is Leinster and if you get a move on you can secure what I feel are some very generous odds at William Hill and for reference those odds are 13/8.
As for the next couple of teams on that futures betting market, well they are the Saracens who are up for grabs at what I feel are very fair and reasonable odds of 9/4 followed by the Munster who I just know plenty of punters will want to back right now at 11/2!
William Hill does of course allow their customers to place each-way bets on this futures betting market and they do offer some very favourable each-way terms too, so you may fancy placing such a bet if you want to lower the risk when placing a bet on this Rugby Union tournament.
Those each-way betting terms are one third of the win odds and they are paying out to two places and teams that could therefore be worth an each-way punt include the likes of Racing 92 at 13/2, Toulouse who are currently trading at odds of 14/1 and also Montpellier at some much higher valued odds of 25/1!
As for the remainder of the teams that are taking part in this Rugby Union tournament, the odds do tend to vary on each of them, but those odds are high to say the least!
Take for example Edinburgh, they are available right now at odds of 40/1 to win, and the Glasgow Warriors are on offer at some even higher odds of 50/1 as too are both Gloucester at 66/1 and Castres at 80/1.
Only very loyal fans however ate going to be interested in backing the likes or Leicester Tigers and Ulster at 100/1 or the Cardiff Blues and Newcastle Falcons and Toulon at 150/1 and as for teams such as Bath and the Exeter Chiefs they are 250/1.
The complete outsiders though and the teams that are expected to fall by the wayside during the tournament are of course Lyon, the Scarlet’s and the Wasps but if you fancy backing them they are on offer at gigantic odds at William Hill and those odds for reference are 500/1!
