It will be this Saturday that all horse racing punters will be looking forward to, for that is the day when amongst plenty of other races, the long awaited Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup Dash will be staged and it is of course being held over at the Ascot racecourse.
It is certainly an open affair this year, but as far as the early betting goes, well Danzeno has been installed as the ante post favourite to win that race, and that horse does have an outstanding chance of winning that race at some huge odds too of 5/1.
Whether or not you fancy the chances of the favourite to come out on top and win this race, is of course your decision to make, however there is a good case to be made for the chance so the current second favourite that being Muthmir at 6/1
There is one other horse that I do feel has a great chance of winning this race this year and that horse is Stake Acclaim it does appear plenty of other punters share that view too for its odd have been dropping slightly over the last week and as such it can be backed right now at odds of or around the 7/1 mark.
Each-Way Betting Terms
The each-way betting terms are fairly standard at most betting sites on this race this year, and as such you should not find it too difficult to secure each-way betting terms that will see punter being paid out to three places in this race and at one fifth of the win odds.
The art to placing a winning bet is of course picking out a horse that has a decent chance of being placed, and one that may just go on to win, and at odds of 8/1 the following horse may just be up to filling one of the top spots in this race, Camacho Chief, Recon Mission, Final Venture, Pass The Vino, Corinthia Knight and Caspian Prince.
Rest of the Field
I think you will be taking one chance too many if you decide to back any of the other runners in this race such as Foolaad, Arecibo, Green Power, Intense Romance, Only Spoofing and Tropics at 10/1 or Alaadel, Lancelot Du Lac, Watchable, Stone of Destiny and Queens Gift at 12/1.
I cannot make a case for any of the 14/1 shots either, and just so you know those horses are Encore D’Or, Junius Brutus, Embour, Maygold, Kick On Kick On, Wise Words and The Cruising Lord.
Glenamoy Lad, Makanah, Lord Riddiford, Harome, Koditime, Jumira Bridge, Wedding Date, Blue De Vega and Saaheq at 16/1, I would head to a betting exchange if you want to back any of the other runner sin this race as you are likely to be offered some much higher odds than a bookie will be offering you on he rank outsiders.
