There is a lot to like about the chances of Lancashire being crowned the top team in Division Two of the County Championship this season, and if you are prepared to take the rather short odds being offered on them then you should be doing so now.
The odds being offered by the more generous betting sites are 5/4 but be warned there are some sites offering odds of just even money and a few of them have Lancashire chalked up at odds on to be the title winner this season, so it will certainly pay dividends for you to shop around and secure those much higher odds.
It is at betting sites like Coral that I would advise punters to place bets on the team they think will win or even be placed in the higher positions of the league at the end of the season, for they are offering each-way betting terms of one fifth the win odds and are paying out to three positions too.
Do also consider claiming the sign up welcome bonus that Coral have available to all punters, for that bonus is there for the taking and will help you lock in even more betting value, and clicking through our links to get to their website wills e you instantly being able to claim that bonus too!
Current Two Joint Second Favourites
If you do not fancy the chance of Lancashire at 5/4, and are looking for some much better odds then you should consider backing either of the two current second favourites in the betting markets on the County Championship Division 2, as either of those two teams could some out on top.
Those two teams are Sussex and Worcestershire and if you get your skates on and back them right now over at the Coral online or mobile sportsbook the odd you can get on either of them are 9/2.
Odds on the Other Teams
It is possible that Middlesex could have an outstanding season this year and if you do think they will then you can back them either to win or each-way at odds of 8/1, and with Coral paying out one fifth of those odds if they finish in any of the top three positions they do look a very favourable bet too.
You are going to have to keep the faith if you back any of the other teams playing in Division Two this season, for whilst there is no doubt that any of them could play well this upcoming season, the odds of them filling one of the top three positions are low!
Those other teams do of course include the likes of Derbyshire and at Leicestershire who are both 14/1 shots, then you have both Gloucestershire and Northamptonshire at 20/1 but the odds do jump quite massively on the final two teams and those teams and their respective odds are Glamorgan at 40/1 and the one team no one really fancies to win or even get placed in the top three positions are 50/1!
