Gulfstream Park will be hosting the annual Pegasus World Cup race on the 26th of this month, and there has already been plenty of betting action on the ante post markets over at Ladbrokes, and that betting market is a good indicator of which horses should do well in that race.
With Ladbrokes offering punters the chance of betting each-way too, and thanks to their generous one fifth the win odds to three places, if you fancy the chances of one of the outsiders of the race then that is certainly a betting site to consider placing bets on that race at.
Just keep in mind that if you are betting in the UK on that race you will need to be aware of the time differences, however the race will be run at 22:35 UK time, so as long as you have your bets placed in good time for the start you should be OK!
There is one horse that has been attracting plenty of early support, and as such has been backed right down to the 6/4 favourite to win, and that horse is Accelerate, and looking at its most recent form it’s easy to see why it is the favourite to win.
Whether the favourite is going to romp home and win the Pegasus World Cup race in two weeks time does remain to be seen, however as far as just which other horses punters are latching onto and betting on the second favourite does appear to have a fair chance of winning that race.
That horse is City of Light and if you get a move on you should still be able to secure the ante post betting odds available at Ladbrokes on that horse, and those odds for reference are 7/2, which is a fair price it does have to be said.
The odds jump to at least 9/1 on each of the other runners in this race, so if you do fancy backing one of the lesser fancied runners you will be rewarded for doing so with some very decent odds.
As for which horses are currently trading at odds of 9/1, they are Patternrecognition and Gunnevera and then you can get 11/1 about Audible and odds of 12/1 are also on offer on horses such as Bravazo.
Whether or not you think that any of the other horses that will be running in this race have what it takes to win it, well that is your decision to be made, however allow me to now give you an insight into just what odds are on offer on each of them.
Seeking the Soul is a 20/1 shot, you can get 25/1 on True Timber and Tom’s D’Etat is a 33/1 shot, and the two outsiders that are not attracting any support currently are Kukulkan and Something Awesome who are available at big odds of 50/1.
